How to Use Naked Manicure Perfectors

Sometimes you just want to embrace your natural nails, but with staining and odd discoloration, it’s easy to feel discouraged. Staining is common when you are a frequent polish-wearer. No matter how much you try to scrub your nails with remover, those pesky yellow stains just won’t budge.

So what do you do when you want to leave your nails natural? Or, maybe you want to try a fun negative space mani you saw on Instagram. If staining or discoloration is stopping you, you need to try the Naked Manicure Color Perfectors.

Perfectors were created to neutralize the appearance of discoloration and provide a natural-looking base for natural looks or to cover with polish. There are 6 perfectors, each designed for neutralizing a specific nail tone. They contain a blend of vitamins and botanicals to provide nutrients, improving the condition and appearance of the nail.

How to Use Them

If you’re opting for a natural manicure, you can use Perfectors to neutralize discoloration. When paired with the Naked Base, you can receive treatment as well. Begin by prepping your nail as usual, treating your cuticles, and filing your nails. Next, use the Naked Base to receive protection and treatment on your nails. Then, apply the Naked Perfector that counters the discoloration you’re facing.

You may also layer a second shade of Perfector to create a better match for your natural nail. Remember if you decide to layer them, that the brighter Perfector should be used first, and the second neutralizing Perfector should be applied after. You can swipe the tips of your nails with the Tip Perfector after you’ve created the base. Finish with the satin seal top coat for the most natural finish, or apply Naked Manicure Glossy Seal.

Negative Space Nail Art

Using the steps for the natural manicure above, you can create the perfect base for negative space nail art. You won’t have to worry about discoloration ruining your designs! Finish your nail art with a Glossy top coat to seal.

Wear Under Polish

If you want to do a normal manicure with polish, you can still use Perfectors underneath! Apply your base coat as normal, layering the Perfector of your choice on top. This will ensure that any discoloration on your nails is not interfering with the pigments you apply on top. It’s also extremely satisfying to apply the smooth Perfectors over the base and add an extra layer of protection.

The Naked Manicure Perfectors are unique in that they can be blended, worn natural, or layered under polish. How you use them is up to you!
