How to Make Your Summer Pedicure Last Longer

Pedicures typically last longer than manicures, but they still get dull. So, if you are tired of your pedi losing its shine after only a few days of wear, follow our tips to make your summer pedicure last longer! These simple steps ensure that your pedis never see a dull day!

Step 1:

Prep your toes by trimming and filing as normal. Apply your favorite Zoya Basecoat.

If you’d like to apply treatment to your nails, you could use the Rescue Repair System. Take a pea sized amount of the Rescue Serum and apply to all 10 toes, rubbing in varying motions until dry. Seal in the serum with a layer of the Repair Base, which acts as a normal basecoat.

Step 2:

Apply your polish as normal, using 2 coats to get a fully opaque finish. Not sure which color to use? These colors are trending for pedicure season.

Step 3:

In case you didn’t know, the Naked Gelie from the Gelie-Cure System line can be used on its own as a polish topper! Whether or not you applied the Rescue Repair treatment under your polish, the Naked Gelie can be applied on top of your polish and cured to get lasting shine and wear. The steps are the same for manis and pedis.

Since your pedicures usually have longer wear anyway, you’ll be dramatically extending your pedicure shine! This tip is perfect for those that like to keep their polish color on their toes for a long time without getting dull.

Apply Naked Gelie to all 10 toes, cleaning up any Gelie on your skin before curing under the LED light. Don’t forget to swipe the toes with Clear Shine when you’re finished to enhance the shine and remove residue. You’re done!
