Can’t decide what to do for your next summer look? Keep reading to learn how to get this summer splatter mani by @hollyfalconenails!
For this look, you’ll need plastic wrap, foil (or palette), Echo and Janie from the EasyNeon Collection, and your choice of a base coat and top coat. @Hollyfalconenails used the Naked Base and Ultra Glossy Seal Topcoat for this look.
Prep your nails as you would for any manicure. You can file using the Gelie-Cure 3-Way File which has an ultra-fine grit to shape your nails how you like them. Use a cuticle oil or treatment and gently push your cuticles back. Qtica Solid Gold Cuticle Oil is great for this.
Use a base coat to even out the surface and prevent the polish from sticking to any ridges or flakes. Naked Base was used in this tutorial, but feel free to use whichever base coat you prefer.
Apply 2 thin coats of Zoya Janie to all 10 fingers and let dry.
Pour or dab a little bit of Zoya Echo onto your foil or palette. Using the bunched up plastic wrap, gently dip into the color on the foil, and then onto your nails with a light hand. Wait for each layer to dry before dabbing more color onto your nails to get the desired spattered effect. Repeat this step as many times as you’d like until you’re happy with the coverage.
Take Remove Plus on a thin brush and carefully clean up the skin around your nails.
Once your art has fully dried, apply the top coat of your choice. Your summer splatter mani is done!
